qmail-uids-gids software package provides user ids and group ids for qmail, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qmail-uids-gids
qmail-uids-gids is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qmail-uids-gids package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qmail-uids-gids *
You will get with qmail-uids-gids package name, version, architecture and description in a table
